Turn on Bedtime Mode — er, let Pixel Watch 3 do that itself
The latest Pixel Watch uses machine learning to automatically detect sleep and enable Bedtime Mode, which saves battery and turns off notifications as well as the always-on display for disruption free sleep. It uses this same technology to automatically detect when you wake up and exit Bedtime Mode.
Beat your best running times
With Pixel Watch 3 we are introducing our most accurate heart rate tracking for running yet. After your run, Pixel Watch 3 helps you analyze and improve your running form. New advanced motion sensing combined with machine learning powers advanced running metrics that deliver a comprehensive analysis of the cadence of your steps, the length and height of your strides and your ground contact time. And with Fitbit Premium, Google AI powers automatic daily run recommendations, which are tailored to your recovery and personalized to your previous runs as well as your goals and preferences.
Screen calls or hold calls from your wrist
With Pixel phones, Call Assist uses AI not only to screen spam calls but to wait on hold for you as well. Now, this same technology is available on Pixel Watch 3.
Enable Loss of Pulse Detection, for when every minute matters
Pixel Watch 3 introduces a first-of-its-kind feature — Loss of Pulse Detection — which detects loss-of-pulse events occuring when the heart suddenly stops beating. It’s a health emergency, where every minute matters. Loss of Pulse Detection uses an AI-based algorithm to bring together pulse and movement signals to confirm a loss of pulse event, and if so, triggers a check-in to see if you respond. If there’s no response, it can automatically place a call to emergency services and share an automated message with critical context, along with your location. Loss of Pulse Detection will be available on Pixel Watch 3 in September starting in various countries in Europe.
