We also previewed what developers will be able to build with its state-of-the-art multimodal capabilities.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"22q7i\">Today, we\u2019re making Gemini Pro available to developers and organizations, as well as a range of other AI tools, models and infrastructure. Here\u2019s what we\u2019re announcing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"7k40t\">The Gemini Pro API is available to developers in Google AI Studio. It\u2019s also available to enterprises through Google Cloud\u2019s Vertex AI platform.<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"fv6p8\">We\u2019re also introducing other models in Vertex AI to help developers and enterprises flexibly build and ship applications:\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"dlmed\">An upgraded Imagen 2 text-to-image diffusion tool.<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"bci22\">A family of foundation models fine-tuned for the healthcare industry, MedLM, available (via allowlist) to Google Cloud customers in the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"dl3qb\">And we announced general availability of Duet AI for Developers and Duet AI in Security Operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-block-key=\"ma56\">Here\u2019s the TL;DR:<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"3esga\">Gemini Pro API in AI Studio and Vertex AI<\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"82q8j\">Developers looking to try out Gemini Pro can use the API via AI Studio, a free web-based developer tool. When they\u2019re ready for a fully-managed AI platform, developers can easily transition their AI Studio code to Vertex AI for additional customization and Google Cloud features. Developers can get started today by visiting ai.google.dev.<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"f4sk6\">Introducing Imagen 2 on Vertex AI<\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"ahja9\">We\u2019ve also updated Vertex AI with Imagen 2, our most advanced text-to-image diffusion technology from Google DeepMind to date. Imagen 2 delivers significantly improved image quality and a host of features, including the ability to generate a wide variety of creative and realistic logos \u2014 including emblems, lettermarks and abstract logos \u2014 for business, brands and products, and can deliver improved results in areas where text-to-image tools often struggle, including rendering text in multiple languages.<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"6fbto\">MedLM in Vertex AI<\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"3r1c7\">We\u2019re introducing MedLM, a family of foundation models fine-tuned for the healthcare industry, generally available (via allowlist) to Google Cloud customers in the U.S. through Vertex AI \u2014 and it\u2019ll be coming to our open Model Garden in the coming weeks. MedLM builds on the Med-PaLM 2 foundation model we introduced earlier this year, and we\u2019ll soon add Gemini-based models into the MedLM suite to offer even more capabilities.<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"sn48\">Duet AI for Developers<\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"7io74\">Duet AI for Developers is now generally available. This always-on collaborator from Google Cloud offers AI-powered code and chat assistance to help users build applications inside their favorite code editor and software development lifecycle tools. It also streamlines running applications on Google Cloud \u2014 and Duet AI for Developers gives enterprises built-in support around privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
