Since Meta AI launched in the US in 2023, we\u2019ve seen corners of the world embrace free access to an intelligent and conversational assistant, which has seen rapidly enhanced product experiences.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s taken longer than we would have liked to get our AI technology into the hands of people in Europe as we continue to navigate its complex regulatory system \u2013 but we\u2019re glad we\u2019re finally here. Over the coming weeks, we\u2019ll take the first step in making Meta AI\u2019s chat function available in six European languages, with a view to find parity with the US and expand our offering over time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Having a reliable and intelligent assistant is already proving to be one of the real values that this generation of AI creates \u2013 giving everyone an opportunity to have an assistant that people can engage with throughout their daily lives to enhance social experiences and unlock new possibilities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n To make Meta AI accessible to everyone, we\u2019ll be rolling out Meta AI for free across Europe through the messaging apps people already know and love\u00a0 \u2013 across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger. To find it, just look for a new blue circle icon <\/span> \u2013 tap on it to find out more and start exploring its potential.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n We\u2019re already seeing people around the world interacting with Meta AI through direct-message functions \u2013 with people calling on the assistant throughout their day to ask questions, deep dive on topics of interest, or get help with a \u2018how-to\u2019 or a problem that needs solving. The ease of access makes it perfect on-the-go, and intuitive for people already using Meta apps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Conversations with Meta AI are sometimes made for sharing, and you\u2019ll now be able to call on Meta AI in your group chats. Starting on WhatsApp, we\u2019ll see this feature roll out across Messenger and Instagram Direct Messaging soon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Just simply type \u201c@MetaAI\u201d followed by your prompt or question in your chosen chat group, and await your reply. Whether you\u2019re planning a group trip, brainstorming dinner ideas, settling an ongoing debate or just looking to add some fun to your chat, Meta AI is your on-call assistant. <\/span><\/p>\n No more hopping from tab to tab to find the information or content you need! Meta AI will now make it easier to discover content that is relevant to you and your interests. With an advanced understanding of what you\u2019re looking for, you can now use Meta AI to generate results across a range of content \u2013 from reels or posts from your friends and followers.
