Through creative educational posts, users will be encouraged to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Use the Privacy Checkup tool on Facebook<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learn more about end-to-end encryption<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Turn on two-factor authentication and Login Alerts to enhance account security\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The campaign will run for six weeks, starting today, and will feature a series of content in Thai, including social media posts, ads, and GIFs. The content will be available on Facebook and is designed to reach a wide audience of Thai users.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This campaign reiterates Meta\u2019s commitment to investing in privacy education and the MDES and PDPC\u2019s effort to equip Thai consumers with the information they need to make the online privacy choices that are right for them. Meta has invested $8 billion in its privacy program since 2019, and rolled out a number of educational tools to give people more clarity into how their data is used and their options to manage it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and are excited to partner with MDES and PDPC to educate Thai users on how to take control of their privacy online,\u201d said Yingyos Leechaianan, Facebook Thailand\u2019s Head of Public Policy. \u201cThis campaign is an important step in promoting online privacy and ensuring that users are aware of\u00a0 the\u00a0 tools available to navigate Meta\u2019s services and make the privacy choices that are right for them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through this collaboration, Meta, MDES, and PDPC are working together to ensure consumers\u2019 privacy is protected and that consumers are empowered to make the privacy decisions that are right for them on Facebook.
