This Diwali, Instagram is adding a festive touch to your content with the launch of Diwali-themed effects. You can now enhance your photos and videos in Instagram Stories<\/strong> and videos in the Edits app<\/strong> with these special effects, making it easier for you to celebrate Diwali using Meta AI, all without leaving the app.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the Restyle feature you can creatively transform your photos and videos on Instagram Stories and videos on the Edits app. To celebrate the spirit of Diwali, <\/span>several unique Diwali effects are now available in Restyle<\/b>. Whether you\u2019re sharing a photo on Instagram Stories or editing a video in Edits, you can choose from three vibrant Diwali effects to infuse your content with festive energy. Each effect is inspired by the rich traditions, colors, and vibrancy of Diwali, helping you bring the festive spirit to your Instagram content.<\/span><\/p>\n

The options for images are \u2018Fireworks\u2019, \u2018Diyas\u2019 and \u2018Rangoli\u2019 and for video are \u2018Lanterns\u2019, \u2018Marigold\u2019 and \u2018Rangoli\u2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Use Restyle On Instagram:<\/b><\/h2>\n

  • Go to Stories by clicking on the \u201c+\u201d on your profile photo or swiping left.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Select an image or video from your camera roll to add to your Story.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • After selecting content, tap the <\/span>Restyle<\/b> icon (paintbrush) in the top bar.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Navigate to the effects browser and choose from the Diwali options \u2014 for images this will be \u2018<\/span>Fireworks\u2019<\/b>, \u2018<\/span>Rangoli\u2019<\/b>, or \u2018<\/span>Diyas\u2019<\/b> and for videos this will be <\/span>Lanterns, Marigold or Rangoli<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Tap \u201cDone\u201d and share your story.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How To Use Restyle For Videos On Edits:<\/b><\/h2>\n

    • Go to Edits and tap the \u201c+\u201d button to create a new project in the Projects tab.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Choose a video from \u2018Reels\u2019, \u2018Camera\u2019 or \u2018Gallery\u2019.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Tap the video once it appears in your timeline.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Scroll along the icons that appear at the bottom of the screen and then tap on \u2018<\/span>Restyle<\/b>.\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Tap the \u2018Diwali\u2019 header and select one of the effects \u2013 \u2018<\/span>Lanterns<\/b>\u2019 , \u2018<\/span>Marigold<\/b>\u2019 or \u2018<\/span>Rangoli<\/b>.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Once your restyle is complete, when ready, click \u201cExport\u201d and post.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The effects will be live for approximately two weeks, until <\/span>October 29<\/b>, and will be available in India and several other countries like the United States, Canada, Singapore and Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n
