Earlier this year we announced Forum, the app for people who want to go deeper on Facebook Groups. Today we’re introducing new tools that make it easier for admins to manage and grow their communities.
Running a group takes real work: reviewing posts, answering questions, keeping conversations on track, and planning what comes next. Features like admin AI and Admin Assist take on more of that busywork so admins have more time for building and nurturing their communities.
Forum is available to download in the US on iOS and Android — just log in with your Facebook account to find your groups and discover new ones.
Smarter Moderation With Admin AI and Admin Assist
Admin AI is a group management tool built right into Forum that helps admins triage pending items, like member requests and pending posts, with suggestions for what to do next. It also highlights what’s working, what needs attention, and which topics members are discussing. In Forum, admin AI can now also draft posts for admins to review, edit, and publish whenever they’re ready. We’re also introducing a new way for admin AI to check pending posts against the group rules admins set. Each post gets a tag showing admins whether the post likely meets the group rules or may go against them, making it faster for admins to decide what to approve. Admin Assist in Forum is now more flexible too, giving admins more control over how they set up automated moderation. Build custom rules by combining multiple conditions, like post length, link usage, or prior moderation actions. As always, admins stay in control of what they allow in their group and all posts are subject to our Community Standards. More on Admin Assist here.

We’re introducing insights built around where a group is in its journey, whether it’s brand new, growing, or well established. These insights will highlight what admins should take action on next, so they know where to focus as their groups grow. You can find these insights displayed in your group and Admin Home on Forum.
Tools Built for Admin Teams
Admins told us they wanted an easier way to keep up with new Facebook Group features, as well as tools to help coordinate between admins and moderators so they can share relevant content with their groups. Now, within Admin Home, admins will get regular updates on what’s new in Groups. Learn more about recently launched features and the latest updates all in one place.
Admins don’t always work alone, so we’re making it easier to collaborate. Admins and their team of moderators can now work from one calendar on Forum that shows posts their team has scheduled, so no one is duplicating effort or missing things in between. Admins can use admin AI to help draft and schedule up to five posts in one go, saving time and keeping the conversation going in their group.
When a member’s reply deserves attention, admins can pin a comment — an answer, a correction, a clarification — right where members will see it.
