DanAds is the leading global Advertising Technology Company

Today, we’re introducing Hugo Öringe, our Platform Architect, based in Malmö.

  1. Could you tell us a little bit about your role at DanAds?

As a UI/UX Designer, my focus is on bridging the gap between complex technology and the person using it. I work to deeply understand our users’ needs, pain points, and goals, translating those insights into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing interfaces. Ultimately, my role is about ensuring that our clients can achieve their objectives through a seamless and engaging digital experience.

  1. What did you do before you started this position?

Most recently, I was at a startup where we used AI to transform personal stories into interactive experiences. Prior to that, I spent a decade in the video game industry, contributing to major titles like Angry Birds 2, Avatar, and The Division. That experience taught me a lot about user engagement and complex high-stakes interface design.

  1. What inspired you to pursue a career in adtech?

I’m driven by a constant desire to learn and understand people. Every industry has its own “puzzle” to solve, and adtech presents a unique set of challenges that I find fascinating. I wanted to take my experience from gaming and interactive storytelling and apply it to this space, figuring out how we can solve complex industry problems through smart, human-centric design.

  1. What’s the best thing about being part of the DanAds team?

The people. It’s such a welcoming, friendly, and talented group of co-workers. Beyond the culture, I really value the level of trust I’m given to tackle challenges and find the best design solutions. It’s an environment where you feel empowered to do your best work.
